Drug Tests August 18th, 2008Aug. 6 (6:51 p.medley.) ? A 57-year-old Friendswood woman was charged with DWI after she was reported as driving erratically without interruption W. Parkwood. She was lethargic and unable to keep her balance. The woman failed a field sobriety test and refused to participate in a drug recognition exam. She was found to be in possession of hydrocodone, Xanex and Soma without a prescription. She was also charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Aug. 3 (2:05 a.m.) ?A 25-year-old Manvel man was charged with DWI posterior he was observed driving erratically on W. Parkwood. Officers located him in the 3200 block of W. Parkwood. Hefailed a field sobriety test and registered .175 on a breath test. During a search incident to arrest, a synthetic urine working implements was found in his vehicle. He told the officer he kept the kit in case he needed it to pass a remedy experiment. He was also charged with Falsifying a Drug Test.
Aug. 2 (5:04 a.m.) ? A 19-year-old Alvin man was charged through Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor. He was stopped for a traffic violation in the 3200 shape of W. Parkwood. He displayed signs of intoxication and failed a field sedateness test.
Aug. 2 (12:52 a.m.) ? A 42-year-old Dickinson man was charged with DWI after he was stopped as being a commerce violation in the 1000 block of S. Friendswood. He failed a field sobriety experiment and refused to provide a breath sample.
Narcotics
Aug. 7 (8:20 p.m.) ? A 20-year-old Dickinson man was charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug. He was stopped for a exchange debauchment at the Alvin city limits on W. Parkwood. He allowed officers to search the truck. Officers found a bottle containing 17 Soma pills.
Aug. 4 (4:04 a.hotch-potch.) ? A 45-year-old man from Edwardsville, IL, was charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug. He was observed in a vehicle in the 3700 block of Townes Forest in the Forest Bend subdivision. He displayed signs of intoxication. During a search for officer safety he was found to be in possession of Soma pills for which he did not have recipe.
Aug. 2 (1:38 a.m.) ? A 25-year-old Webster dependant was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Officers observed the man in a white Dodge speaking with a male pedestrian in the 1500 block of Regency Court in Regency Estates subdivision. He allowed officers to search his vehicle and a bag containing cocaine was found in the car.
Domestic Violence
Aug. 2 (1:36 p.m.) ? A 31-year-old Friendswood woman was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury after each argument with her boyfriend turned physical. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Brendan Park Lane, in Whitehall subdivision.
Burglary
Aug. 7 (11:30 a.m.) ? A Magellan GPS system was stolen from a vehicle parked at Baywood Apartments, 5025 FM 2351. A window was forced open on the vehicle to lucre entry.
Aug. 7 (9:45 a.m.) ? A home recently completed in the 100 mould of Chiselstone was burglarized. The door to the residence was damaged and a Perry Homes representative believes the be suspicious was attempting to steal the door.
Aug. 3 (7:41 a.m.) ? A burglary was reported at the Citgo convenience store, 2414 W. Parkwood. Entry was forced at the front door of the business and a receptacle of change was missing.
Theft
Aug. 6 (1:54 a.m.) ? A British Arms revolver was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Whitehall in Kingspark-Whitehall subdivision.
Aug. 3 (7:57 p.m.) ? A 29-year-old Galveston woman was charged with Theft. A resident of the 500 block of Castlelake in Annalea subdivision befriended the woman and allowed her to stay at the residence. The resider discovered that the woman had been larceny items from the mansion. When confronted by police, the woman was found in possession of single stolen pieces of trinkets and a check.
Vandalism
Aug. 7 (4:00 p.m.) ? A window was damaged at Double A’s Pizza, 108 W. Edgewood, when a rock was thrown at the window.
Aug. 7 (1:00 a.m.) ? A window was discharge out, possibly with a pellet fire-arm, at a residence in the 1300 close of Inverness in Coward Creek Crossing subdivision.
Aug. 5 (3:42 p.affray.) ? A mailbox was reported damaged in the 700 block of Falcon Lake Drive in Lakes of Falcon Ridge subdivision. A car may have hit the mailbox and knocked it over.
