Hong Kong - Random drug tests could be introduced for teenage children in schools and discos as part of a package of measures considered by a government sponsored anti-narcotics group on Thursday. The Action Committee Against Narcotics could recruit doctors to carry out the compulsory and instant tests on a not old person’s saliva or urine in a attempt to curb drug use. An instant ground of admission kit to check for ecstasy or ketamine would cost less than 4 US dollars. The drug tests could be introduced later this year. The testing proposals fill identical spaces with a survey which showed 85 by cent of parents among 1,462 people were in favour of pressing testing. Action committee component Scarlett Pong said: “The testing can too originate a deterrent effect on children who want to take drugs.”Cheung Man-kwong, a lawmaker representing the education sector, before-mentioned the identity of any student who tested positive during the govern tests should be protected.
